Looks like the Chicken is sleeping with the Fox

With Palo Alto eating everyone’s lunch looks like the fox and chicken are checking each other out. Desperate times, desperate measures. No atheists in a foxhole. Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer…

My bets are with CP and R80….assuming they get it right. Future blog.

Checkpoint makes sense for ACI as they are a software based solution under the hood. The sexy SDN features coming in R80 if executed right could position Checkpoint at the forefront of stack and cloud based security. Right now these are the wild west and PAN being hardware is not a good fit.

You stole my thunder and did it in so few words. Exactly what I was going to drone on about. Totally agree, software (and enterprise management) will win in the end….assuming CP doesn’t screw up like R70 and R75 and R76……..
